Hello, over the past few months our internet service has been extremely slow (low as 10mbps) at times and even less in the master bedroom of our small apartment (800sq. feet).
We have the second tier on speed, and even though we had a tech come out and take a look after the initial realization of the problem, all he had to say was our mirror on the dresser was interfering with out signal significantly to the point where we aren't getting much of a signal if there are more than 3-4 devices logged onto the network.
I'm sure other people have this problem living in a apartment building but I was wondering if anyone had a solution to amplify wifi in there home?
Looking into Xfi-Pods but I'm not 100% set on those just yet.
There are other options. Google for WiFi repeaters / range extenders, WiFi mesh systems / pods, powerline ethernet adapters, MoCA adapters. Good luck !
