Internet intermittently goes off and on in the night

Hi,
I am having problem with internet in the night mostly and some time in the morning.
I setup the technician visit and he checked all the signals or okay and there is no problem. He went into attic and removed one splitter and now having only two place active connection, earlier it was three. Single day net was fine and next day again same problem, internet goes off and On multiple time.
Hope someone with good knowledge can help in this.
Thanks
