Internet Dropping Constantly

I am looking for new advice with an old problem. 

 

Our home Xfinity disconnects multiple times per day. The problem is not slowdown in speed, but rather a hard dropoff. It's not the router, loose cables, the splitter, etc and Xfinity status check has been run from a mobile phone during an outage. The cure is always-always a reboot of the modem.

 

In the last major episode of this nature, the problem turned out to be the cable from the utility pole to the house...something to do with "water in the line".

 

Who knows?  It's been rainy and maybe the line needs changing again.

 

Are there any other diagnostic ideas that come to mind?

Please also post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.

What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?

Is this a WiFi connection ?
