Internet Connectivity

My Xfinity router is n the basement of my home. I'm getting intermittent connectiivty in my bedroom which is 2 levels above that, and 40 feet to the north. I have a cable coming into my bedroom for my Xfinity TV cable box. Question: is there something that I can add to the cable in my bedroom to improve the internet connectivity in that room?

There are other options. Google for WiFi repeaters / range extenders, WiFi mesh systems / pods, powerline ethernet adapters, MoCA adapters. Good luck !
