Internet Connectivity Loss / Poor Power & Signal Noise Ratio?

Hi all,

 

A couple of days ago, I had a Xfinity/Comcast tech visit in an attempt to resolve connectivity drops that were occurring every night or every couple of nights. Here's context regarding the home setup:

 

This house/household has 2 separate Xfinity accounts. The tech replaced our coax cable splitter, which takes the ground cable line and splits it to coax wall outlets: one to my living room and another to my roommates' on an upper floor. I'm using a newly purchased Motorola MB7621 Docsis 3.0 Cable Modem.

 

The tech also discovered that one of the coax cables was exposed at the connection end. He resolved this by cutting the cable and applying a new "end" to it (sorry for lack of physical networking knowledge). Since he also replaced the splitter, all appeared to be "reinforced". We ran some quick tests indoors with my cable modem and everything seemed fine. That evening, I ran streaming tests for about 15 minutes with all my devices (as well as my roommates, whose devices connect to their own router and, therefore, their own Xfinity account).

 

This evening (2 days after the previously mentioned events, I've experienced loss of internet connectivity at two instances (each lasting 5-10 minutes).

 

Below are screenshots of my Modem's info as well as a pasted Error Log. I'm going to take a wild guess and think that there are way too many errors and that power and signal levels are.. unstable?

 

1. Are my power/signal levels "all over the place", and if so, are there ways or a tech can remedy this?

Note that the system uptime is a little over 2 days, which was the time since a tech came to visit and helped repair a bad coax cable going into the previously mentioned splitter.
