Intermittent slowness and dropped connectivity Xfinity Internet, Memphis 38104
This past Tuesday evening (7/30 maybe Monday) we had a brief storm that caused cable TV and internet to go down from that evening until nearly noon the next day. It was clearly indicated on the outage map for the area. Ever since then, I have been experiencing extremely slow down/up load speeds, a speed test a few moments ago showed 2.7 mbps/approx 15 mbps. There are times I lose connectivity for a few seconds/minutes. THIS IS NOT MY EQUIPMENT and I have done the UNPLUG/PLUG back in.... I just can't go through the pain of the call/chat with Comcast - it is always the same. This is clearly a system issue in our neighborhood. I wish COMCAST would at least own up to areas having slow speeds and indicate that a team is working on the problem. The OUTAGE map is only for COMPLETE outage, but this is nearly an outage.
