I'm at my wit's end. I am scheduled to have a Comcast service tech come out tomorrow, but I've been having intermittent connectivity issues for the four months since I moved into this house. Like other people here, I've repeatedly called customer support and gone through the whole reset the modem rigamarole. I've replaced my modem, router, and have had an electric come and check and repair the wiring. It seems like the problem is from outside, but of course it's always working fine when the tech comes out to check it.
My electrician is going to come out to meet with the tech when they come out tomorrow to confirm what they've done with the wiring, but is there anything else I should be asking the tech to check? This is getting absolutely ridiculous, not to mention expensive, just to figure out how to get consistent Internet access.
