Hi,
Having the exact same issue as Kingloz described here: https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Your-Home-Network/Internet-crashes-XB6-modem-reset-Gaming/td-p/3203585
Essentailly, I have to keep reseting my modem to play Xbox. After I reset, it works for a day or two then something crashes my Xbox and I have to perfrom a factory reset and reset the modem. Like Kingolez, this issue started about 5 months ago.
Can soemone please help? I've spent hundreds of dollars on new modems and routers and countless hours trying to fix this issue. It's cearly not my equipment, and I've had a tech out sevearl times who wasn't able to do anything. What's the fix? I only expierence the issue when gaming. All my other deveices connect to the internet fine.
Hello @Afeld, thanks for reaching out to our Forums! I'm sorry to hear that you are only having connection issues with your Xbox. I can definitely see how that can be frustrating and or inconvenient. I would love to assist you with further troubleshooting this. Just to confirm, are you experiencing this both via Wi-Fi and directly connected to the modem?
Hello @Afeld, I never heard back from you on here, so I will be locking this thread. Please reach back out to us if you still need assistance with this connection issue or for any future issues or concerns. We're here to help, thank you!
