I read that at the start, comcast was only giving out /64 prefixes to home networks. That post was several years old however. Do they give prefixes larger than /64 to residential customers currently?
And can I request just a prefix, to assign addresses myself, or does residential internet REQUIRE me to send all IPv6 allocation requests to the ISP instead of allowing me to use my own DHCPv6 server? I use OPNSense as my router, and when I check the option "request only an IPv6 prefix" so that it gets just the prefix instead of a full IP, it doesn't seem to grab anything (that's with sending a prefix hint to request a /64 prefix).
