I need to switch IPv6 to IPv4

I have spent two days talking to xfinity telling them exactly what the problem is and no one seems to know what they are doing. They continually tried things that were not working and then said it’s not a problem on their end. But it is. I start school tomorrow and need the problem fixed. Please help!!

One poster said that issue was caused by a bad setup using the wrong MAC address.

It's fairly common around here. The WAN MAC address of the router component of the gateway device gets provisioned instead of the HFC / CM MAC address of the cable modem component of it which results in IPv4 IP address access only.
