High Latency Spike HELP

I have been having high latency in a majority of the video games that I play. This is also affecting general internet usage as well. I have included a path ping below. You can clearly see the jump in ms between comcast destinations. A solution would really be much appreciated as I pay to much for this to constatnley happen.

Re: High Latency Spike HELP

Does anyone from comcast have an update on this. I hvae tried calling their support, but they seem to not understand. They only advise me to reset my modem. I am going to have to cancel comcast. I am paying to much for this bad performance

Re: High Latency Spike HELP

Hi guys I'm having the same problem. Response times of 1,2,3 seconds. It does happen when NOTHING is running or other devices connected, but it does seem to intensify (happen more often) when I am in my sim (iRacing).

It has been happening since about 4:30 Florida time.

Hello @Pade. I can assist with performing a diagnostics test on your modem and local Node/Plant area to see if we can find what is causing your latency. To get started, please send me a private message and include your full name, service address, and account number so I can access your account.

Re: High Latency Spike HELP

Hi -

Just came across this conversation while searching for issues on this particular node of Comcast's network, and boom: same result for traffic from Washington, DC to California (Blizzard) see below. It very much seems to die each time at: ms as4436-1-c.600wseventh.ca.ibone.comcast.net just before reaching Blizzard. This started about a week ago and support was unable to help me the other day. I've been looking up additional details to figure out just what's going on.
