Gigabit Speed Issues/Negative Downstream Channel Power
Hey all. I recently upgraded my Xfinity home internet to gigabit. I have a compatible Netgear Nighthawk C7800 Modem/Router combo. After hours and hours of phone calls with Xfinity and Netgear tech support agents, my problem persists. Over Ethernet connection, I cannot crack more than 500 Mbps download speed, and over Wi-Fi I usually can't get over 300. My power levels in the Netgear Genie show that only 31 out of 32 Downstream channels are locked and all the channels are between -9.6 and -3.8 dBmV. I am growing very frustrated as I have paid a ton of money now to get better internet and nothing is seemingly working. Please please please help.
