Frequent disconnections observed while using Skype

I have been experiencing frequent disconnections while using Skype or any similar program. Other things like YouTube, Netflix work well may be because those services buffer the data. I have tried reaching out to Xfinity but every time they confirm that everything looks good and they just change the connector. I have replaced the Netgear modem plus router with another one... as tech suggested that there might be an issue with router. I think it is Comcast which is dropping connection but not fixing it. What’s next?
