External cable fill with water

The cable between the roof and the telephone pole was filled with water. The cFinity tech found no nicks or cuts in the cable. How is this possible?

Re: External cable fill with water

Sometimes water will get where it wants to over time but it’s possible there weren’t waterproof fittings used or they weren’t tight, or through the tap itself if water got in.

eirecom, sometimes water in the line can cause service issues like pixelation on your TV screen. Let us know if you're experiencing any service issues so we can help.
