There are some archived posts about this subject, but I can't find anything current. My company is implementing a new VOIP internal phone system that requires SIP ALG be disabled on the modem. My modem is a Cisco DPC3941T. Is this setting enabled by default and is there a way that I can disable it?
I work with VoIP phones. I have the same modem and it does not look like you can turn it off. You will need to call Comcast and have one of there techs turn it off for you but it is possible.
