Actually, this started shortly after I got the "upgraded" ARRIS Group, Inc. TG1682G modem. Prior to that, the modem I had worked flawlessly for 3-4 months. Then Xfinity sent me this "upgrade" modem and it's been nothing but problems. Disconnects on hard wire. Disconnects on WiFi. I've made so many connections to the online chat and telephone reps that I almost known them all by first name. Most frustrating thing, is the wife is laughing at me as her rock-solid connection on CenturyLink DSL just chugs merrily along, and most times I have to use it to talk to online Xfinity service. Getting ready to say adios to Xfinity unless they can finally fix the problem!
