I am having trouble getting the router and modem to work together properly.
I have the linksys set up as my whole house router and have just switched from Fios. I signed up for 66MB service and when I run a speed test I get ~ 29Mb. Comcast have tested the line and it can run to 1Gb so thats not the issue.
I messed around with a few settings and here are the results:
1) If I directly connect a PC to the modem I get ~70Mb service
2) If I connect the linksys to the modem and then access from the router I get ~29Mb service
3) If I put the linksys in Bridge mode - I get ~70Mb service
4) If I put the linksys in auto mode and clone the MAC I get 29Mb service
The issue with running with (3) is that I would have to reconfigure my internal network. What are the Internet connection parameters that I need to have my linksys run my network and connect to the modem?
Hopefully someone has seen this before.

I solved this one myself. It turns out the the EA8300 has a media prioritization capability and it was set to the slower speed. Turning it off and resetting it enabled the full speed of the cable connection.
