I am unable to connect to my remote work server. From my home wifi, I can connect the VPN, but am unable to join the server. The network is blocking VPN traffic. I have tried bridge mode, firewall lowering, modem replacement, and a DMZ to resolve this and nothing has worked. I have spent hours on the phone with you just for you to tell me there is nothing you can do.
I am able to connect to my work server on the open xfinitywifi and secure XFINITY hotspots. I am unsure why it works with these and not our home wifi (but this proves that the issue is with you and not my company’s vpn or server). The problem is these hotspots are way too slow to dowload and upload large files (like 300+ MB) to/from the server efficiently. I am basically unable to work and it's very frustrating.
I have the same issue. I've tried to connect in many ways and I have the same issue. I am able to connect to my work server either Xfinitywifi or hotspots but it's too slow. I need to solve this problem ASAP because I can't work from home either and it really worries me because I have a lot of work to do.
Turn off xFI Advanced Security (from either the Xfinity App or from this browser link) and see if that helps.
