I've had Xfinity since 2003, and haven't had issues until now.
I have a Docis 3.1 Netgear modem and a Netgear Rax120 (Ax router). The router has a built in speed test app for testing modem speeds. I get 980mbs and then every couple of hours it will drop to 300mbs, then slowly work its way down to 10mbs.
In the event logs I'm getting some wierd errors. Ones a Time Sync Error and one is a T3 connection time out error. My modem also only connects to 31/32 downstre channels. This is super frustrating. I'm hoping someone can figure this out.
Had Xfinity tech come out 3 times and he finally said I need a line guy and it may be an issue within the node.
Please also post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.
