xfi app and bridge mode errors

I switched back to Xfinity after years of proudly feeling free of the monopoly and abhorrent customer service less than 18 hours ago. In the short time more nonsense has occurred, reminding me why I left Comcast all those years ago. I won't bore you with the details. 

 

I'm stuck on one thing though. My gateway slipped into bridge mode at some point last evening and I discovered this when attempting to check out the xfi app. When I singed in the xfi app reported my gateway was in bridge mode and that would need to be disabled prior to my gaining access to the xfi app features. I have successfully disabled bride mode via the admin tool only to discover the xfi app disagrees. I have signed in and out of the app along with refreshing the app to no avail. 

 

Any advice would be appreciated

JSaintJ, are you still receiving the Bridge Mode message when logging into xFi?

JSaintJ, have you tried resetting your modem?

I have the same issue and resetting modem didn’t remedy that issue.

Any resolution for this issue?

I am having the same problem. Stuck at "you gateway is in bridgemode" screen.

 

any fixes? I'm at a standstill

You might try a system reset by pressing the reset button on the gateway?
