I have rebooted my gateway three times and it is still requesting a firmware update before setting up these xfi pods. I see alot of folks getting this done by requesting it here. I appreciate the help if someone is able to push one my way.
I swapped my modem at a local service center and during the few reboots to activate I did get the correct firmware to activate my xfi pods. Just as An FYI for all the views and no responses to get an updated firmware pushed; I could have called and then made the request for this push to happen.
