I have a TG1682G gateway and when I try to access advanced settings through XFi, I receive a message that I need to upgrade. My gateway supports XFi so I'm unsure of what the issue is.
Can you access xFi with a web browser?
I receive the message regardless if I try via app, router portal, or xfinity URL.
Did you try 1-800-comcast? I got some help with my xFi.
billtrav, you mentioned it's once you try to access the Advanced Settings, can you provide details as to when you first see the message?
Do you see the Upgrade message as soon as you click on "More"?
Or are you selecting a specific feature - port forwarding, LAN/WAN settings, editing WiFi?
