I have a Technicolor (CGM4140COM) modem with 6 xFI mesh pods around my home. Everything is spaced out around the home to receive consistent coverage.
Recently, my MacBook Pro drops it's wifi connection when I go to our family room, which is only 25' from our modem. No other devices (and we have many) have this problem. It's just my laptop.
When I powercycle my router, it usually then re-connects. I can connect to my public hotspot (xfinitywifi) without any problem all of the time.
