Problem with shipping of Pods

This sounds strange, but I received a package which was suppposed to contain my xfinity wifi pods; however, when I opened the package, it was full of various halloween stuff, like pumpkin carving kits, trick or treat bags, etc.

 

I checked the tracking number on the package and it matched the tracking number xfinity gave me. There were no signs of the package being tampered with and my security cameras did not pick up any activity after the UPS guy dropped it off.

 

I'm thinking maybe UPS put the shipping label on the wrong box or Xfinity somehow did it, but I don't know how to remedy this. I contacted customer service after I discovered I received the wrong stuff and the rep said he would get his supervisor to call me back later (he never did).

 

Any ideas? I know, it sounds bizarre but it's true. Thanks for any help.

Did you try calling 1800comcast?

Yes, I called them as soon as I discovered the contents of the package.

 

They ended up calling me not long after I posted this, and told me to send the box back to them and they would re-issue me the pods, so it appears to be all worked out now. Thanks for your help.
