and the poster is resolving the issue by turning off xfi Advanced Security. Any tips on how to do that?

It sounds like that option "disables" (unsubscribe) but doesn't totally remove Advanced Security from being available and logging connections. Info found under the section "How do I unsubscribe from Advanced Security?":
