Connecting to 2.4

I have a device that can only connect to the 2.4g connection and I cant figure out how to separate them when I connect. It only gives me an all together option not 5g and 2.4g it says that they are the same name and password help please? I have a gateway xfi

I have the same question.  But I don't think we can separate it.  It routes automatically.  🤷🏻‍♀️

It is possible to separate them into two bands.

You need to change the mode, not just the channel;
