Arris Surfboard Modem

Hi,

I have a question about my modem vs the one xfinity provided. I own the ARRIS Surfboard SBG6782-AC and Xfinity provided me with the ARRIS TG1682G.  When I compare them the only difference that catches my eye is the following. My modem says WIFI data is not available for this device where Xfinitys says it is. What does that even mean?

Thanks,

BAH

I don't follow; are you saying the Surfboard says wifi is not available and the TG1682G says wifi IS available?

I don't see any issue; if you have wifi available for your wifi devices, it shouldn't matter.
