You might be receiving this error if you are using a Roku device that is unsupported.

I am getting this error starting thsi morning for news specific channels. i use a supported Roku.
In addition, the xfinity streaming app is not connecting to the same devices.
Please explain how the Xfinity app is having the same difficulty and this is not an issue at the xfinity end of the service?
