Unable to log into iPhone app

This is nothing new. It has happened many times before.

 

  1. Click "Get Started" on the Welcome to My Account splash screen. A window displays with the following message: "XfinityMyAccount" Wants to Use "xfinity.com" to Sign In".
  2. Click "Continue". An oauth.xfinity.com browser screen displays.
  3. The process hangs, and a message displays saying that the page could not be opened because the server stopped responding.

Getting very tired of the same old issues repeating themselves. Please fix!!!

run the app, select the gear and be sure there is no choice to sign out. close the app and then uninstall the app. reboot the smart device (not just lock/unlock). reinstall the app and log in. working?

Repeated this process three times and am now able to log in. But, The app should be reliable enough so that I shouldn’t have to do this!

It actually happened several more times since my last post. Strange, but ehen I disabled my home WiFi, it connected fine using LTE. When back on WiFi, it hung. I restarted my modem, and the app seems to be working now. It also was curious that, even though I have Gigabit, the best I could muster with Speedtest via WiFi on my iPhone was 64Mbps. After the restart, the speed returned to its usual +/- 380Mbps.

Ok, thanks for letting me know. Do you have a computer that you can hardwire to the modem and then run a speed test?
