iPhone 7s - Cannot connect to data over the network. Band shows Verizon and not Xfinity Mobile

iPhone 7s BYOD..switched to Xfinity Mobile in the local store. Phone works only over WiFi but cannot connect to data over the network, calls are fine. I see only Verizon LTE as the carrier. How do I get this working?

 

I removed the SIM, reset the network settings and tried all other means but couldn't get this to work. Any help is appreciated.
