gingerquinn1, if you're trying to download content from the Stream app to your laptop's or mobile device's internal memory, that is not a feature we have available at this time. Customers using the Stream app can download their favorite shows they have recorded to the app and have that available for them on the app to stream while offline.

Support help says downloading purchased content is allowed, just not over website, only apps.

"You can also download purchases using the XFINITY Stream app on your Apple and Android devices. Downloaded titles can even be viewed when you are not connected to the Internet"

Re: download purchased movies

That stinks. So we purchased 19 movies with the understanding that we own a digital copy and we can't download to a laptop or media drive?

You are not "streaming" if you are offline.

RE: " ... not "streaming" if you are offline" - ummm - if I cannot watch the material offline then I did not really DOWNload it. I just copied it from xfinity's site to somewhere else on the web. What a sham.
