I see a lot of posts where a customer representative helps people fix their visual voicemail. Mine isn’t working either and I just brought my phone over. Can someone whelp me.
for visual voicemail to work, cellular data must be switched on. Can you try that?

Not sure how old your your post is but I ran into a similar issue in my wife's new note 10 and fixed it tonight. I looked for an older version xfinity visual voicemail apk online from an apk site. Downloaded one from before December and installed it. After you install and accept the permissions it will say there is an error. Next you want to open the play store and update from there. Once its updated let it sit open for a little while your voicemails load and then you can close the app and reopen without the compatibility notification. Hope this helps!
