Visual voicemail not working

I see a lot of posts where a customer representative helps people fix their visual voicemail. Mine isn’t working either and I just brought my phone over. Can someone whelp me.

for visual voicemail to work, cellular data must be switched on.  Can you try that?

Similar issues. Tried the chat but was directed to Apple support for my new iphone. Can the visual voicemail functionality issues be resolved here?

I'm pretty sure, but not 100%.
That the Xfinity Visual Voicemail app only works with Android phones.
With Apple you have to use their Voicemail application.
