So, I ordered an IPhone X and had it last than 24 hours. Hated it. So, I decided to return it. I wrapped it exactly as it was when it was sent to me. I took pictures of everything. I am worried about being charged for damage to the device after reading all these posts. I don't have any saved payment methods on file on my cable account and my mobile account was closed yesterday. (Verizon stepped up and offered us a cheaper rate) So, what will happen if they try the "damaged device" scam on me?

Mrsfwh3, there is no scam. If your device was returned in mint condition you will not be charged unless you returned it outside of the return window. If you didn't return it in time, you will be charged and then refunded once the device has been processed.
