No More Free MMS?

Am I reading correctly that Comcast has discontinued its policy of not counting multimedia messages toward data usage? That appears to be the case in the linked FAQ item below. I missed this change, not that it makes a huge difference in my usage.

Do my text messages count as data?

Text away! Your text messages—including SMS and MMS—are covered in the unlimited nationwide texting that's included with all XFINITY Mobile lines. They do not count toward your data usage. If you're an iPhone user, your iMessages do count as data.

Re: No More Free MMS?

Will MMS use WiFi if available, or will it always be cell data?  (I have an iPhone, but do not use iMessage.)
