You say the Samsung Galaxy S-8 is one of the acceptable Android phones. My S-8 is new and unlocked by Samsung, not a service provider and has never been locked by any. I was at the local Joliet, IL store last week and they weren't able to activate it. They called someone from the store and they were not able either. The IMEI is being rejected/not able to activate. I have checked the IMEI on the Verizon website and it passed their test for being able to activate for their service, so not locked in any way and is being used on ATT now. A couple days ago I tried to find out if the IMEI was now acceptable as I was told Samsung phones were new to your service, so still some issues with them. The agent in chat said she could not check a Samsung IMEI, only Apple ones, it could only be done in the local store. So I guess I have to deal with the line and confusion of the local store again....or just go with Verizon. When are you going to get your act together?
