Does my Samsung S9+ support GSM technology?

My signal is nearly nonexistant in San Antonio where I am moving.  I need to know if the S9+ will support GSM used by the service provider I am considering.

The samsungs are multi carrier they will work on nearly any carrier world wide. They are only missing a few bands. But us wise it needs to be sim unlocked. You can even look on XDA developers out other sites on changing the carrier firmware to match your new carrier.

If you're asking just about xfinity supporting GSM no it does not. They run on verizon towers which are a CDMA technology. Unless they have lease time from gsm towers which i have not seen

Note that Verizon has been switching from CDMA to LTE/VoLTE ("HD Voice") and has said it will be shutting down CDMA service at the end of this year. See https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-218813/.
