Cannot change my phone number to my local area code
I have been trying to change my phone number. Tonight someone in your tier 2 department changed my phone number, but they gave me an area code that is not local to me. I am very annoyed by this and tried several times to escalate the issue, but I am simply told that the computer picks it and there is nothing that can be done. I have never heard of a mobile phone company that cannot even pick a local area code for a customer. What an absolute terrible experience and company. Is it true that you cannot even find a local area code for customers if the computer provides something that is out of area? Is this something that other customers can also expect if they request a phone number change? Why is it taking so long to get this fixed? Do you think this is an acceptable way to treat customers?
