I tried to port in freedom pop number to Xfinity mobile. Since it was taking more time, I asked them to cancel the port request (12736382 ) and issue a new number. How long does that take to cancel port and get a new number ?
Update : port was cancelled in 2 days. But the wait still continues ( 5 days as of now ) as my BYOD iPhone 6 (bought as unlocked from Apple in India ) still does not work. Have used T-Mobile sims on this iPhone. Been to store couple of times and call with cc atleast 10 times in the past week and changed 3 SIM cards. But no fix yet.
Seems like I hurried up in getting the sim as soon as I saw BYOD offer which I was waiting for since the launch of XM.
