I just spent 10mins trying to get the same question answered via chat. The rep just told me to download the mobile app and I would get notification if there was an alarm at our residence. That is not what I wanted to know and not what my question was. I specifically asked if there is or would be a "Panic Button" option in a future software/firmware update. The rep just kept telling me download the mobile app. Geeeeez.......we've had the system for well over a year and know how to use it. All we want is a "Panic Button" mobile app feature.
Hello hawgwildterry, there is not a panic button on the Xfinty home app currently. I understand that you would like to see this added, we do listen to our customer’s feedback. Please click on this link and let us know that you want this feature added to the app so that this change can be considered in our next update.
Thank you for the link which I followed and made a request to have the "Panic Button" feature added to the Xfinity Home mobile applicaiton.
Hi hawgwildterry. Thanks, our customers feedback is always appreciated. Keep an eye out for future updates, in case this is considered and added to or Xfinity Home application.
Dear Comcast, why on earth would you NOT consider adding an emergency button feature to your app? Or even a button in general that you migh keep next to your bed? all of our equipment is on the first floor so by the time we made it down stairs to press an emergency button the burglar could have endangered our lives.
If this was my product this would be the first thing I added to my app or in general. Be smart comcast and make a SMARTER update.
