Home App will not let me log in

Home App will not let me log in

I just recently got a new cellphone the LG V30 and when I installed the home app onto my new phone and tried to log in I keep getting the message "we are having trouble logging you in". I've done multiples things from uninstalling and reinstalling the app to even changing my password and keep getting the same message. How can this be resolved?
