Can’t use Face ID to arm/disarm alarm via app.

Can’t use Face ID to arm/disarm alarm, but signing into app w/ Face ID no problem. I’ve closed the app, reinstalled the app...nothing works. It worked perfectly for a little while there, but for the last 3 months its just been frustrating.

I've requested an OE response - may be a new feature.

Hello Moonshine4nik.

 

Please follow the below steps to ensure "Face ID for Arm/Disarm" is set to ON:

 

Through the Xfinity Home app for mobile devices settings:

  1. Sign in to your Xfinity Home app for mobile devices.
  2. On the Overview screen:
    • Android: Tap the three dots, tap More, then tap Settings.
    • Apple: Tap More, then tap Settings.
  3. Tap the switch next to the ID option to turn it on or off.
    Switch located to the right of Face ID for Arm Disarm option
     
  4. Enter your Keypad Code.
  5. Tap Yes to confirm.
