Sorry if I am posting on the wrong board but the app in question is not listed. I was trying to find out why I cannot connect to XFINITY secure hotspots via the Xfinity hotspot app. A tech recently told me that these hotspots are tied to businesses and you must get the access code from the business. Hmm, this is not posted anywhere in the Comcast instructions regarding secure hotspots and it is clearly communicated that all customers have access to these secure connections if you have the Xfinity hotspot app. I am confused! If you need a code why is this not clearly spelled out in the app instructions? Also, I realized that when I try to access the connection it never asks for a code of any kind. So if the business gives me the code where do I submit it? The posted instructions are very detailed and this is not referenced anywhere. Sounds like double talk!
