Voice2Go issues

Ever since I downloaded the Xfinity Connect app to use Voice2Go, I have not been able to receive inbound calls on my landline. The phone rings, but I cannot hear the person on the other end, nor can they hear me. This is absolutely frustrating and at this point I don't want to use Voice2Go. They say you cannot disable it for your primary number, but if I can't get rid of Voice2Go altogether, I'm going to go with a different provider, leaving Xfinity/Comcast. Not only for a landline, but for cable and internet as well.
