Looks like the new email notifications are not coming up on my new Iphone 8 Plus. The Xfinity Connect app is set to alert for lock screen, notification center, banners, sounds, badges. Per above, everything is up to date, so I am wondering what is going on. I get no chimes, banners, ect. I have been trying to figure this out for a couple of days now, so if anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate the advice. Thanks.
Just spent over 1 hour on chat . Went thru the steps with the regular rep, then got passed over to the advanced rep. Re-did all the same steps to be finally told to call Apple. All told, three hours trying to fix this. This is why I prefer to be a delayed adapter.
Same for me on my iPhone XR and iPad. The notification preferences are disabled, so I can’t even set them. I would love to be able to see when new messages, emails or texts come in on my homepage on phone & iPad or I forget to check.
Just dowloaded the app update, takes a while to load acct info. Still no notifications. The app allows notifications (toggle switches work and on) and so does the Iphone. Same old same old.
