Netgear c7100v not compatible with Voice2Go?

So simultaneous ring does not work on my Xfinity Connect App.  All other features of Voice2Go work fine in the Connect App. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ phone.  An advance repair department tech concluded that the problem is my Netgear c7100v modem is not compatible with the Voice2Go feature.  Would a Comcast representative on this forum please confirm that this is the case?
