My Xfinity Connect app has been spinning (blue circle) and not responding in Inbox or when switching to a different email folder, such as Sent or Spam. This can go on for minutes and the folder does not update. I have to kill the app and reopen it for the email message to be displayed. I wonder if it's because I had previously sent large images as attachments, and they can't be downloaded? I have plenty of RAM in my phone. I have a new Samsung Galaxy S20 5G Android phone and have already tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app. Can anyone help? Thanks!
On the phone with Xfinity - there is a known outage that's been going on for about 2 weeks that's relevant to this issue, which started with iPhones and is now on Androids. The Outage #: SI04653245. The cause and resolution date is unknown at this point.
