Xfinity Stream is not available at the moment. (Error ftde.xact.3322.1000136)

I have xfinity internet (comcast) and pay extra for xfinity stream. While I can log into my account and go to "My Xfinity" page and check my emails, and etc... I cannot stream most of the time.

I use a Lenovo laptop, and yes, I adjust the site settings to "Allow Flash".

But, if I try to stream using GOOGLE CHROME - it won't work 90% of the time.

I have been on the phone and chatted with support many times, and no one can help me fix this.

I get this:

Sorry, we're having some trouble

Xfinity Stream is not available at the moment. Please try back soon.

(Error ftde.xact.3322.1000136)

Please, somebody, help.

Thanks.

Is this with the app or with the website?

I've been asked this before - I use a computer.

If I search for an xfinity app, it shows me 3 options - all of them are for an x1 tv box. I don't have, nor do I want an X1 TV box. The only other app I see is for Samsung TV. I have a Sony.

I don't have a problem streaming when I use Firefox or IE. The ONLY problem streaming is when I try to use Google Chrome.

I have followed allll the suggestions - emptying history, clearing cache and temp int files. Of course, I allow for Flash to be used, and yes, I have gone into settings and allow 3rd party cookies.

if you don't have an x1 set top box (and therefore a cable tv subscriber), do you have a subscription to Xfinity intant TV? (streaming cable channels with xfinity internet service in the home)

I get the same thing, day after day after day,  I uninstall and reinstall and work with flash/chrome etc. to no avail.  That's comcast for ya, the most hated company in the US.

Call 800-Comcast and select billing. ask the agent to check that your username you are logging in with is connected to your current account/address only and has the right permissions.

Re: Xfinity Stream is not available at the moment. (Error ftde.xact.3322.1000136)

Data 1,

A part of me is sorry to hear that someone else is experiencing the same problem I am. And... a part of me glad that someone is experiencing the same problem I am. ;^ ) I'm not alone in the world.

This is what I've found to work... sometimes: Close out of Chrome. Clear/empty cache, history, and temp files. Defrag. Check for ALL updates, including Flash, Windows, and whatever computer brand you're using. Also, update your virusware. Also, be sure to allow cookies from third party websites... and I know you already accept Flash. That's a given.

Shut down your computer. Shut down your modem and router (if you use one). Wait a few minutes and reboot your modem and router. I wait until my TV says it's connected to my network before I rebbot my computer. I figure, if the TV is connected to my network then my computer should connect to it as well when I reboot...  And then I reboot my computer. I go DIRECTLY TO the log-on page at xfinity, log on and then cross my fingers and hit that little computer monitor icon at the top right of the homepage. Then allow Flash.

If it doesn't stream after a half dozen attempts... I do it allllllll over again. It usually works after 3 or 4 attempts. And sometimes, not at all (even when I make kissy faces... and my kissy faces have ALWAYS worked on my other electronic devices)

I don't know why, but it only happens when I use Google Chrome. I have no problem streaming on my first try when I use Firefox or IE. My issue is that I have a quasi-smart tv, and purchased the ChromeCast Key... or whatever it's called. I can open up chrome and cast to the TV with no prob.  I can cast ANY website to the TV. So, it's NOT a casting problem. It's a streaming problem.

I hope somebody in billing is reading this so they feel sorry for me having to go through this NEARLY EVERYDAY! A free upgrade to HBO would be nice... at least until the end of the last episode of GoT... just a thought.

Hope thi helps.
