X1 DVR stalls during playback, symptoms resemble buffering but I have strong download/upload perform

X1 DVR stalls during playback, symptoms resemble buffering but I have strong download/upload performance. This DOES NOT occur on the television only on my laptop. Using windows, 8mb ram, 1 trig hard drive, Intel ICore 3......any help appreciated. Thanks.

there is a known issue that affects random customers for random amounts of time. It appears that during peak times some servers are at over capacity for programs to be recorded. The errors cause the servers to move customers around to less 'full' servers over time.

If it is a known problem are they going to do anything about it. It happens all the time for me and has been going on for over 2 months. Makes the app useless for watching any DVR recordings by streaming.

it is my understanding that Comcast is working on it by adding to the capacity (servers). As servers are added the customers (like us) are moved from busier servers to less busy servers in an automated process.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully it will not take forever to solve the issue. We pay a lot for the service, which is usually good but this should be addressed in a more timely manner.
