Will Xfinity Instant TV work if I start using a VPN?

I have an at home business and am thinking of trying Nord VPN for security purposes. Just wondering if this will cause issues with Xfinity Instant TV?

your home connection doesn't need a vpn for use in the home. use of a VPN might be good for wifi connections to your smart phone in a coffee shop or airport (norton offers a secure VPN as an addon service). your in-home Comcast connection is ipv6 and if you are using windows 10's default settings, windows 'obfuscates' your actual home IP as seen by outside websites etc. In reference to your xfinity instant TV the VPN address if turned on would show you are out of the home and limit what is available to view on PCs and other smart devices.
