HBO problems on xfinity streaming site

HBO problems on xfinity streaming site

As of yesterday I've been unable to access HBO on the xifinity site, nor can I log in to HBO GO. I chatted with two reps and they assured me that I was subscribed, but both my TV and the xfinity site continued to tell me that I needed to subscribe in order to access HBO, so I went ahead and resubscribed. This allowed me to watch on my TV, but the problem persists online, despite making attempts with three different web browsers. Next to the on demand or "watch now" episodes on the website, a square with a dollar sign is displayed to the right of each episode, and when I click on any of them, it tells me a subscription to HBO is required. 

 

I also realize this problem has been covered elsewhere in these forums, but the solution I'm directed to in said threads is to private message a particular rep, and it seems this option is unavailable to forum users who have not yet made a public post, so here I am.

 

If anyone can assist me with this issue it would be much appreciated.

call 800-Comcast and select billing. ask the agent to perform a deep background refresh of all databases (takes up to an hour to complete). If agent is unsure or unable, ask for a supervisor. working now?
